Categories of Loose Leaf Tea
All Tea is made from the fresh leaf of the Camellia sinensis bush. Terroir, the complete natural environment in which a particular tea is produced, including factors such as the soil, topography, and climate. This means the same category of tea will vary in different regions. This is why for example Chinese green tea are so different to Japanese green tea.

The Classification, black, green, blue (Oolong), or white tea, is determined by how the tea leaves are picked and processed. Every stage of the tea making process contributes to the final taste, however the main difference is created by the oxidation level added to the leaves.
